Meet the Owner

Jimmy Stephensen

Jimmy Stephensen is the founder and owner of JS Pest Control. A third-generation Nevadan intimately familiar with the desert and its inhabitants, he brings nearly 30 years of expertise to the industry.

Raised in the Southern Nevada construction industry — his father operated MS Concrete for 40 years and his grandfather founded the first natural gas company in Las Vegas — Jimmy followed the family entrepreneurial tradition when he established JS Pest Control in 1999.

Under his leadership, it has grown into one of the largest independent, family-owned pest control companies in Nevada, with more than 30 employees.

Jimmy is a board member of the Nevada Pest Control Association and serves as vice president of Southern Highlands Little League. He's an Eagle Scout, a Bonanza High School alumnus who furthered his education at Southern Utah University and UNLV. He holds pest control licenses in Nevada and Utah.

Beyond his professional bug life, Jimmy is a former professional off-road and motocross racer who has competed internationally. He's a proud father of four sons.
